Initially, I was only going to read this for personal enrichment. I had no intention of posting it here. However, the writer makes a very good point. This article is directed toward Christians, or those who identify themselves as Christian.
A pro-family journalist says many traditional Christians and cultural conservatives love the natural family as a theory, but they do not like it as a specific way of life.
A featured speaker at World Congress of Families IV in Warsaw, Poland, says he's learned from promoting the natural family in print that many traditional Christians believe a preacher is meddling when he asserts the natural family has “a quiver full of children.”
David Mills, the editor of Touchstone Magazine, says he's noticed very conservative people will often “stiffen and scowl” when they're told the calling of each girl is to become a wife and mother.

God made Eve to be a helpmeet (wife) and mother. If you read Genesis 2-3 literally, this is plainly evident. Given the influences of the feminist movement, it comes as no surprise that many young girls have been brainwashed into thinking that they can have their cake and eat it too, that they can be super-woman.
Does anyone remember Lisa Nowak, that super-mom who had a sparkling career in the space agency and a beautiful family? She tried to have it all, the career, a husband, a lover, children, and what happened? She cracked! She drove 900 miles to assault a woman whom she thought was encroaching on her lover. He was not even her husband!
Whether-or-not there was some kind of sordid love triangle is beside the point. The point is this woman tried to have it all, and she cracked under the strain. She lost her job. She lost her husband. She will also most likely, if not already, loose her children. She has lost everything because she tried to have everything. Now, I'm not saying that every woman will end up a broken mess, if they try to have it all, but there are consequences for not following the liberating law of God.
On a personal note, it is beyond me why any woman would want (emphasis on the “want”) to endure the stresses associated with working in the world, rather than working in the home where she has a husband to shelter and protect her.
