Condoms and contraception for elementary students are among the services of 20 new school proposed health clinics in a bill under consideration by Illinois’ House of Representatives.
SB 715 passed 32-22 by the state Senate faces a second reading in the House, which if approved would go to the governor for signing.
While the state’s Administrative Code specifically allows the current 48 school-based clinics in Illinois to offer “family planning” by “prescribing, dispensing, or referring for birth control,” the Illinois Family Institute reports SB 715 intends to introduce the programs to elementary school students, who would also receive condoms and birth control along with band aids, ice, and routine medicinal care.

These are elementary school-age children! These children are not even teenagers! As disturbing as this proposed piece of legislation is, what is even more disturbing is the mindset behind it. Why is there a need to distribute condoms and contraceptives to 5-12 year olds? Why? It is because a bunch of 8 and 9 year-old girls running around pregnant is bad P.R. There is an agenda afoot within the government school system to sexualize our children at younger and younger ages. So-called “sex education” is being foisted upon our children at younger and younger ages. The homosexual/sodomite agenda is firmly entrenched with more than 3,000 homosexual clubs in the government and secular private schools around the nation. The religion of secular humanism (although they would like us to think otherwise) is zealously indoctrinating our children in the government schools that truth is subjective to each person, thus spreading the belief that that only “gods” that exist are that of “self” and “sex.”
Why are there pervasive attempts to sexualize our children? The reason is clear. If children have no mores, then they become easy prey for the sexual predators that wish to ravage and defile their bodies. The Youth Pride events are prime examples of this. Children are encouraged to publicly commit lewd and deviant sexual acts. Obviously disturbed adults freely mingle among these confused children. It is a pedophile's candy store! However, if truth is determined by what is right in each man's eyes (Proverbs 14:12, 16:25), then why is pedophilia wrong? There are some who would say it is okay. So, does then the civil government determine our mores? What if the civil government made it legal for adults and children to fornicate? Would that make it right? NO! No, no, no, no! Our knowledge of what is right and what is wrong comes from God alone. That is why Adam and Eve's choice to each of the knowledge of good and evil has been so devastating on mankind. In their self-righteous piety they believed that they best could determine what was right. What God told them wasn't good enough. That was what was at the heart of their rebellion against the Almighty. As did Satan, they wanted to attempt to supplant God as the ultimate authority in their lives.
However, God in His exceedingly great mercy provided a way of escape from the promised death. Oh, Adam died to be sure (his bones have long-since turned to dust and are in the ground to this day), but the escape God provided was escape from the second death, eternal judgment in the fiery pits of Hell.
…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. The shame of which the prophet spoke was the ultimate shame those who rejected the Son of God will suffer on the final day when He says to them before the Father, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” (Matthew 7:23).
If you do not know Jesus Christ, this does not have to be your fate. Put your trust in Him now. Pray to God. Admit to Him that you are a sinner and in need of His forgiveness. Repent of your sins, and pray asking the Lord Jesus come into your life to make you a new person in Him, and He will do just that.
