Truth by Popular Vote

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one was around to see or hear it fall, did it make a noise? This is how our world defines truth today: perception and concensus. After all, there is no absolute truth, or, even if there is such a thing, no one can be absolutely certain [...]

Globalization — A Sign of the Times

Globalization is a fulfilment of apocalyptic prophesy in the Bible. God has warned us that this would happen. In part, the driving force in globalization is a desire for power, not on the part of corporations, per se, but from our governing leaders. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Their lust for power [...]

Christian Abandonment of Their Children

Many well-intentioned Christian parents today send their children off to the government schools each day with the misguided, albeit well-intentioned, belief that their children are “strong” in the faith and need to serve Christ as His witnesses in a darkened world (i.e. the public schools). Tragically, what once used to truly be public schools, of, [...]

Innocence Lost: The Sexualization of Our Children

Rod Wheeler, who has experience as a police detective, told O’Reilly of a growing national concern over lesbians and some men “recruiting kids as young as 10 years old in a lot of the schools in the communities all across the country.” He estimated the presence of 150 gangs, including lesbian gangs, in the Washington [...]

The Apostate Church

Ordained minister Henry “Bud” Shaver was arrested with another man after reading from Isaiah 1 during a church service at Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita, where late-term abortionist George R. Tiller is a member. During the communion service Rev. Shaver stood at a microphone and read a portion of Isaiah’s warning to believers from a scrap [...]

The Two Party Farce

When faced with a decision between bad and worse the world tells us that we must choose the lesser of two evils. That is how the world thinks. That is how Satan wants us to think. However, this is not what God tells us in His spoken, revealed Word, the Bible. No temptation has overtaken you [...]

Children: Passing Through the Fire of ‘Mindfulness’

In a new educational trend, elementary school children in the United States are being taught meditation techniques to get them to slow down and think. A New York Times article describes how children in one classroom are coached in “mindfulness” in two 15-minute sessions a week. The lesson begins and ends with the striking of [...]

Global Warming, Global Farce

The mainstream news media are being accused of ignoring the many scientists who share NASA administrator Michael Griffin’s skepticism of whether manmade global warming is a real threat to the planet. The NASA chief recently drew criticism for telling National Public Radio he doubted global warming is “a problem we must wrestle with” and argued it [...]

Commitment

A railway worker who emerged from a 19-year coma woke to a radically altered Poland and thinks “the world is prettier now” than it was under communism, his wife said Sunday. Gertruda Grzebska, 63, said that for years she fed her husband Jan carefully with a spoon and moved his body to prevent bed sores. “For 19 [...]

Christians: Be Consistent with Your Conscience

Poll numbers strongly suggest voters are thinking outside the box and would consider voting for a third party candidate for president in ’08. Joining prominent conservative, Christian leader Dr. James Dobson, who said his “conscience and … moral convictions” (AP/5/18,2007) would prevent him from voting for Rudy Giuliani should he win the Republican presidential nomination, [...]
